This is the main project I've been working on for the past 15 years.
Almost since my beginnings in jazz, I’ve been drawn to this particular lineup: electric guitar, saxophone, double bass, and drums. It’s with this ensemble that I recorded my first two albums: REWIND & FF (El Club del Disco, 2018) and NEW BEGINNINGS (Ears and Eyes Records, 2023).

The latter was recorded in Austria with my current quartet, which features the brilliant British saxophonist Julian Argüelles—one of the leading names on the European scene over the past 30 years (he’s played and recorded with Kenny Wheeler, Carla Bley, Dave Holland, among many others)—alongside one of Austria’s most in-demand rhythm sections: Miloš Čolović on double bass and Andreas Reisenhofer on drums, two of the most promising young players on the scene.

This pianoless format, with the saxophone as the lead voice, allows me—as a guitarist—to take the initiative harmonically and use the power of the saxophone to highlight the melodic character of my compositions.

The music we play is strongly influenced by some of my guitar heroes such as Bill Frisell, John Scofield, and Wolfgang Muthspiel, as well as legendary Argentine artists who blended Argentine music with improvisation, including Gato Barbieri, Astor Piazzolla, and Dino Saluzzi.
